1400gtr-Leo Vince

The Leo Vince is nicer looking than the original exhhaust and MUCH less weight. This is a titanium (slipon) system. The sound is very nice. The baffle is in.

1400gtr.id.au

With the purchase and use of SPOT I have now integrated the route logging available from this device (SPOT) into the WEB site at 1400gtr.id.au . SpotWalla, a free service, allows integration of SPOT info into Google MAPS in a very nice way.

The first integration is with the Bemm River ride report. I have placed SpotWalla links within this article, I have also created a SpotWalla page on the site were I will put the links for all SPOT logged rides.

Have a look at www.1400gtr.id.au and check out the changes.

Enjoy

Music to my ears

G’Day

A previous blog entry (A Gathering of RAM mounts) showed the iPhone mounted on its ram mount and plugged into the StarCom1 Digital via a lead. As the iPhone was used for music only and I wished to carry the phone on my person, a new method of providing music was needed.

Touch devices (Apple) do not work with motorcycle gloves so manual controls was the go. Enter the iPod shuffle. Made a quick mounting bracket.

Around a thousand songs and/or podcasts. Aluminium body, robust construction, solid state drive, click controls and buttons useable with gloves on. Runs for around 15 hours on a full charge. Purchased a Belkin USB charger and unit can be charged by the bike. Might purchase a second shuffle. One playing one on charge. :-)
